Our family travel after Stage 2 opening in Ontario. I am writing our travel experiences and with family, three kids, parents and friends. We started with GreenWood Conservation Area in Ajax. While we could only go to few places with kids and parents, with social distancing in mind, just wanted to be close to home, not too far but in open area with nature for some time. We were out after a long self isolation time during the months starting from March break until June. GreenWood Conservation Area: Amazingly Green Wonder within a City Beautiful, peaceful and very wide open park with few large group picnic spots under sheds and trails. I can say it is a Green Wonder in between the cities. There is one trail which attracts us to go there again and again. We get down few steps under the hill, pass through a small bridge and meet water. ITs pretty quiet and clean water stream where I have seen people just chilling out with their pets or just sitting around in a cool small area besides the stream. The trails then goes further. Also there is another trail which leads to the lookout scenic point. Watch out: for wasps and bugs on the trail. Short Trip to Niagara: Little Different than Usual Niagara Glen Nature Reserve: This time we thought of doing different than usual which is just going to niagara falls, looking and taking pictures of the falls, going to the arcades and coming back home tired after long drive. This time I wanted to explore more, do different, see different. So decided to visit Niagara. I googled as usual, but I have learnt to go with flow and not to overplay wherever we go for the trips as most of the times over-planning ruins the real fun of the instant joy. I just check on some pictures, facilities and do little quick research to avoid any disappointments, but rest I leave up to the time, destiny and nature. I trust on them and they have never disappointed me till now. So in this case, I just saw some reviews and never knew how beautiful was the trail. I did not even know where exactly that particular tail was until when we arrived there my son ran to the scenic spot and called us to see. We saw the staff directed people somewhere with a big board of map. That map was the map of the trail underneath. Many visitors have never found this place as they think they have arrived the wrong place. So I will write where exactly is this trail. So when you park , come down to the picnic area, on your left there is a big map board, just beside it there is a steel steep steps to go underneath the hill which leads you to the trial. The trail is amazing, after some time you hear the water gushing. From some point at the trail you can come close to gushing water. But we did not go much down are it seemed not to be safe to do much closer to gushing water. So just took some pics and carried on with the trail. I have posted some videos, pics and maps for you so that you have not miss this spot like other did. Cows IceCream: After a long trail, hot weather was a turn to get cool down with COWS ice cream at Niagara on the Lake. Around 25 minutes drive from the Niagara lake we arrive to this iceream shop. We found The house flavours Cownadian Maple, Gooey Gooey,Wowie Cowie are the best of all, must try. cows.ca Scenic Lookout Point: Niagara on the lake: A short stop to enjoy the scenic view. Sunset Beach at St. Catherines: As the name says it all. Is the beautiful little beach especially when you want to enjoy watching Sunset. Trip to North beach: North Beach is just 1:30 hour of drive from Ajax, Ontario. We decided to stop by to Campbell’s Orchards. Again I do not do over research and over planning as I have always felt that I loose the fun of instant joy of adventure, even if it is a short trip. Just a little bit of research is more than enough to avoid any disappointments. So now in an hour’s drive we were at this farm. A trip to Campbell Orchards. Passing through a very beautiful town, cottages just off the water, beautiful little cottages and in between comes a farm. There is a little shop where you can buy baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables. This time was for strawberries, we chose to pick strawberries. There were $4.00 for a basket, so bought 2 of them to go pick into the farm. Kids got little busy with chickens in a small area. Had to force them out to start picking so that we reach the beach on time. Very sweet, small strawberries, Saw little grapes bunches on the vineyard. Small apples and much more. But not yet rippen enough to pick. So only strawberries during the time: end of June. After that kids suddenly met two cute dogs, Ruby and Sofie, very friendly and cute little dogs. North Beach: Rocky beach on most of the area except on the last part of the beach area. Very clean water, absolutely safe for kids as shallow waters to play around for little ones too. Visit Algonquin Park: 3 hours drive from Ajax. Stopped at the view of stony Lake on the highway, for some pics and a little break from driving. Then stopped at Kawartha Diary. Kids were happy to see the size of the scoop. The raspberry thunder was the best ice icream that I liked out of 4 that we picked. At the park we stopped at the information centre, take the car permit and then to the lookout point. Nice short trail,. Excellent view. Worth walking with small kids. Then we stopped at this amazing two river beach. The washrooms were quite nice and clean. We ate our lunch on the picnic bench and then headed towards the beach. I was absolutely amazed to see this beauty of the nature. A clean lake water in midst of huge pine trees. Small fishes moving around, mussels on the rocks, long shallow area for small kids and cool clean water for all. Looked like absolute beauty of nature, cool , clam and very peaceful place. Very narrow area where only couple of benches can be found. Many trails, and missed Ragged falls, but will come back for that again. Again, I give my spiritual insight on a subject. It covers only few dimensions while it may differ from others, also while there are many different ways to describe, present or recommend the views.
Mostly diseases or discomforts are caused due to overuse, mis-use or not using it at all (if one sense is absent eg: no sight, no hearing ability etc), of senses, mind and body. So in this case my insight we are talking about speech and communication. At the same time, most diseases or discomforts can be healed with right spiritual guidance, pumping of oxygen through pranayama, burning toxins through fire created by deep meditation. What causes Thyroid - Spiritually Speaking? 1) There is too much load on neck and shoulder area inside and outside both. Thyroid gland can be affected due to this tensed neck and shoulder area continuously. 2) Most of the time the emotions are not expressed fully, you feel choked in the neck/throat area, you have no idea how to express, communicate, or shy. Something is blocking it to come out, to be expressed. This might be caused because you are fearful, that if I express, it can hurt, damage, or can have negativity affect or feel like what would people think? Or it might be really bitter or harsh. They might react in weird way that might hurt you back. Those emotions remain buried in this area. Frequent Sore throats and throat irritation are the first symptoms. 3) Your personality in past have been very outgoing, mainly “talkative” but somehow you have suppressed that. Or you have not even realized that you have been talking way too much, overusing your one sense. Talking so much that even if there is no one around, you talk in mind or murmur. That is unnecessary. Now what must be done in order to take care of this issue.

Rashes, Pimples, Oozing, Eczema, Itching has a deep root into our system. Which comes up to the skin is just the manifestation of what’s inside. What’s inside? Same theory GIGO. I have mention this almost everywhere, every time, that whatever is written in my blog is only few ways of looking at the truth. Truth can be realized in infinite ways. I try to describe in few words, in few dimensions only which is within my understanding level. Everyone has different approach and different way of seeing life. I try to put in words, my way of living life, my views and my opinions using my spiritual insights. That does not mean it is absolute and the only way. Just one or few ways to explain things, person, discomforts and life. Unknown or Subtle Garbage-Ins: For ongoing or chronic skin problems. These category of garbage-Ins are bitter and hard to swallow truths of Life. These are the ones which are not known but very important to understand. Not many throws light on such issues. Only those who have realized this bitter truth little bit are able to share the experience. Understand the laws of Karma. Karma has a huge part in Chronic skin problems. Many scriptures like CharakSamhita and some Jain texts have also mentioned this, in little phrases here and there, but let me be precise.

Vow yourself that you will, no matter what, initiate yourself to improve your own self. Vow to correct yourself. One technique to do Self Analysis:
With practice and understanding, cravings will be gone, and transformation will happen. Clean body, Clean eating habits only comes with clean thoughts and actions. This can happen when we can somehow learn to divert our focus from Mind to Soul. Feed your Soul Not Mind. All that is creating chaos is due to too much focus and attention to Mind and Senses. Our Body, Mind and Senses are very precious gifts as a Human, but we somehow have not learnt how to use them correctly, which in turn creates havoc. Once corrected, has so much power and strength that you can not only heal yourself but others also feel peaceful around you. No garbage can even come closer to you. But for now Help Yourself, Raise awareness, Improve and you will see how easily you can purge all the garbage out from your body and mind. Rigidity: Yes sounds familiar but awkward and little offending. But if you understand and look closely without judging yourself and without ego, with willingness to learn and understand more about your true nature. In many cases you are very rigid and stubborn, at the same time you let go or take for granted things that are quite important in your life. You need to bring back the balance by understand what to let go and what to be stubborn for. This will help you to raise your energy, boost immune system and get optimal health condition. Use this stubbornness to raise awareness towards knowing and understanding yourself. This Rigidity and Stubbornness is a rare quality found in only some people, but use it in the way that helps you grow more healthier and spiritual.
Many feel very comfortable in their bonny body. It never bothers them. If you are the one of them, then you won’t be reading this. But most of them feel they are underweight, embarrassing, weak and not comfortable with what their body looks like right now. How would you know How Rigid Are you? And in what aspect? Self Analysis will help you. Once a day you may sit quietly by yourself. Cross Legged. After taking few deep breaths in and out. Try to focus and remain yourself what events happened throughout the day. You write them down in a form or list. You do this on daily basis. From this notice, what where you stubborn on and what did you let go. Try to understand what is important for you. Be stubborn on receiving/doing what is serving you right now or let go what’s not needed. When you practice this, you will become aware of your these dominating nature of being rigid at one point and letting go what is important. So let good come to you, accept it, nourish yourself and let go what is old, and negative within you. These people mostly might have anger issues. Let us first understand what exactly is anger. Watch the Video below to understand the anger. In short, Anger is boiling of blood in such a manner that toxin is released in the body. So how would you deal with this? Do not suppress the anger, as it might create further imbalance within you. If you express it, it might hurt someone so deep that you might even break the relationship, or the person can be hurt so deeply that he might suicide. So what’s the Best way to deal with Anger? Understand the trigger point, understand the root cause of anger. Always remind yourself that you can not change the work but you can start changing yourself. Bring peace and calmness within you. How? Meditate, seek spiritual guidance if you need help on how to meditate, how to grow spiritually so that you can handle 100s of issues like anger, jealousy, scattered mind, etc etc. Learn How to dissolve Anger with love and compassion. Anger is a silent killer. Deal with it right now. Learn to purge it out of your system. Second, Be aware of your weaknesses. Weak body is a manifestation of weak being from inside. So Focus more on your strengths, while you are still aware of your weaknesses. Make your strengths more stronger, all weaknesses of yours will fall right away. For example: Be aware that Jealousy is your weak point. When you see your own sibling, friend or family member progressing, earning big money, living in luxury, you right away start degrading yourself. I would start thinking, “I wish I can also have that”, “How did he got this big paid job?” “I deserve the most”, “I am much senior, hard working than him”, “I have more knowledge” etc. So now you know what is your negativity. Now how would you work on it. No not by focusing much of such negativity, instead know what’s the opposite of this feeling. The opposite of this jealousy feeling is to love, be compassionate, be happy, giving encouragement, know what you are jealous of? If it is material thing like big house, big car, big money, understand whether happiness and true love can be bought with any material exchange? No. Another big issue with this type of body is lack of energy. The body becomes hyper active and losses the energy after a while. Work to raise you energy level, through pranayama, learn about kundalini energy, your chakra system. Above are just few tools, techniques that you can use to nourish your inner and outer body properly. We have learnt through the practice which misguided/taught us to somehow accept the pain and just live with this situation. Some literally think that it’s all God’s will and he will somehow rescue me from this situation. Hey common, do not rely of someone else, it’s your own body, God Only Helps those who help themselves first. Some are stuck in such practice which mostly comes from our pre-conceived ideas, religion, beliefs, new practice call “mindfulness”, or being just stuck in some kind of faith. Also all alternate therapies are based on Yogic system. We all know that. But somehow the root is not being touched anywhere, in any therapy. They only treat once the symptoms have taken over your already. No alternate therapy have touched the root cause of the pain? They treat on the surface only, maybe some are inclined towards "mind", but no one reveals or let me put it this way, no therapy is able to recognize the culprit and take that culprit out from the system. lets discuss this further.
I always remind myself, that if I feel stuck with pain or situation, can’t come out of it for long time, no self improvement happens, if I am not able to flow, if I am not able to improve my health than it is time now that I must drop that faith, belief, idea or whatever I am sticking to. Before we go further we first need to accept that the chronic becomes chronic, painful again and again, always because life, god, divine whoever you believe in, wants you to know that you have been clinging to one thing/things so much that now is the time and pressure to let it go, make some changes, transform, move on with your search for such a practice which is absolute. Do not accept the pain, accept your mistake, accept that you really need to create the force / energy to bring it on, to bring this change. This transformation really needs courage, wisdom, trust, self confidence and more that everything proper guidance. You can be your own guide, but only when you trust yourself and are confident that the path you have chosen is right. So back to the root cause of the chronic pain. You believe me or not, the fact is very simple and straight forward, the only thing is how much you are ready to digest this truth. There is simply the ONE big reason of this choric aches, if this is taken care of rest will follow and fall off by itself. The trick is: “Put/Allow/throw some light or be aware of this root cause and eventually that will be uprooted and you will be free of that pain, negativity or aches”. Can we do that? Overfeeding your Mind or Senses creates pressure and Congestion: We are constantly feeding our Mind and Senses. On top of it practice like “Mindfulness” makes things worse. The focus does not go away from Mind. There is way too much Controlling or way too much indulgence into the senses. There is no balance found whatsoever. You may find balance temporarily, only for few months, days or moments. And then you are thrown back to the painful situation. How you are overfeeding your Sense? Senses: After reading below, you would find that there is no balance whatsoever. Most of our senses are present on our head area. Sight, smell, taste, touch, hear and mind. Thus its all fed through the head. Sight: Reading, watching, looking at others. Taste: We either indulge knowingly or unknowingly into certain kind of food. Meat, Fried, Spicy or Sugary are the main . Or being too rigid by eating only one or few style of cuisine, vegetables, beans, grains, no dairy at all. Smell: Using too much Perfume, scented lotion, scented house hold products, mouth literally starts drooling with just the smell of the certain food. Touch: Touch is felt all over our body. Some are too sensitive to any kind of touch while others touch unnecessarily. Mind: Our sixth sense. We have used this tool to just manipulate all the information that has been fed. Some information helps us towards self improvement but most of it remains stagnant there. All the above senses must be disciplined and operate under your own control, but now all these take control over you. So first let’s have a look as the information fed which is useful. Yes, whatever you are putting or receiving into this body needs to be digested well or it sits as the waste somewhere and gets stuck. So the information, food, knowledge etc is fed through these senses. Good senses are those which only takes information which is useful and can be used for self-improvement. Those senses are the best which not only touches the heart but penetrates deep and creates a shift, make changes and you can feel this change or shift sooner or later. But now question is for those trillions of information, knowledge, extra food, sugar, grease, alcohol, drugs, news etc which did nothing but just got stuck somewhere in your nerves, digestive track, glads, kidneys, liver. What about them? So these so called “Mindfulness” practice does not even mention that. These are the toxins which needs to get purged off. These are the waste which created imbalance in your body. These are the waste which pinches your nerves, tightens your muscles, freezes neck and shoulders, digestive track gets inflamed, infections attacks, now travels down to the back and then knees. Wow, that was scary, right. But there is certainly light at the end of the tunnel, there is certainly way to come out of this. But the gift which we all have been given, our will power needs to be geared up. One thing we all have already realized but not all are ready to accept the fact that all medications, all alternative therapies, natural cures and even yogic techniques gives only TEMPORARY relief. If you have not understood the cause of the pain, and if you have already got the clue, but not working on the right path will never lead you to freedom from these kind of pain. So work and focus to know and understand the cause first. How can I get the clue what is my root cause? It can be one of the below: Your habit, what you have been doing or had done in past on regular basis, over thinking. Overdoing things like: reading holy book again and again but nothing in practice, watching, listening and talking about same thing again and again, but nothing in practice. This is your biggest clue. Find out what is that thing, habit or your practice which is you think is good for now to read, talk, listen, watch, do but in real life that particular thing or practice gives you absolutely no tool or techniques to improve your health or bring the pain down. You feel good while you are indulged into that practice or habit but once you are away you are back in pain after some time. Most of the faith, religion, practice, self improvement books, so called “Spiritual Groups” all only talks about good things like positive thinking, meditation, anger, depression but I have found absolutely none who really gives practical tools and techniques which we can use it in daily lives to improve our current situation. eg: There is a video “One way to finish Negative Thoughts” where a person is asking to indirectly practice “Mindfulness” Again. Person is asking to do an experiment for one week on how to practice positive thinking. So now person suggests to only think positive, watch positive, read positive, do positive and automatically negativities will be gone and positivity will be induced. Yes that is just the first step. I have always mentioned that practicing “Mindfulness” is the only one step or one way and it does not work for everyone all the time. Say if I am accepting to practice this way, I have in total as per Psychologist around 60,000 thoughts per day. Now I am doing only good things, forcing myself to think only positive, forcing myself to watch and listen positive. Good. Feels good for some time. Then what: Unknowingly I have not only controlled lot of emotions, controlled mind, suppressed emotions, suppressed my habit, did not bother much about negativity which is sitting already inside before I started my practice? Like Anger, hatred, jealousy, revengefulness and many more. How can I get rid of that? No it’s no going to transform like that easily. It's not practical. It feels good for one week, two weeks but not long term. So the information or a guideline which is given everywhere seems to be incomplete or shows only one way, Like One Size fits all. It is not practical for everyone. So if you are practicing positive affirmation, experimenting on yourself to think positive for a week and if you really want to see the change, permanent, try to dissolve and take care of all those negativities which is already buried by practicing few things. Do not focus much on Mind. Learn how to bypass mind. Know and understand that the power of Soul is much more than mind. Focus on the Navel Area. That is our root. Not mind or brain. Brain is just a processor but root is around our belly. Focus in the navel area. So now the question is how do we know we are overfeeding? While we have been so expert in using mind, use now as a beneficial tool. Try to understand whatever you are feeding must be used, must nourish your body, mind or soul. Listen, watch or talk only those things which can be absorbed and digested easily without using too much of mind to manipulate the content. Remember whatever is feed needs to be used up in good way. Otherwise it may aggravate anger, jealousy, hatred, revengefulness, which will again get stuck as a toxin in your body. Do not suppress or control the pollutions like emotions, food craving, addiction instead work to release them out. Also, even if it is good for as per your knowledge, I would suggest not to even overdo that. Take a dose whatever you can digest, or you will either throw up or it can be poisonous. Anything, even good food, good lecture, good thinking, if done too much is harmful. Just eat, do, listen, watch, whatever you can digest right now. May be later one slowly you will have appetite to digest more truth but for now just do little practice. Let’s look at some symptoms as it is: No manipulation, no interference of mind, purely as it is: Nerves Pinched: Too much pressure from outside of the nerve or blockage Stiffness in the Body: Too much rigidity in the your entire being Weak Hearing: Have heard too much than what was needed, or have heard which is not appropriate. Frozen Shoulders: Taking unnecessary burdens which you “think” it is your responsibly Headaches: Too much thinking, reading, worrying about things that does not even exists. Never heard that before? Let me reveal this first, that all the Real Masters since the beginning of Human Life, no matter what era they were born, all have practiced and taught “Soulfulness”. It is forgotten, lost its popularity because now we started to live on the surface. And “Mind” lives on the surface.
If Soulfulness is so profound and beneficial then why it is not popular and not talked about? Unfortunately it is forgotten due to lack of knowing, understanding and mainly due to our own habit of following the crowd like a sheep following the herd. We adopted practicing “Mindfulness” so fast, because it seemed easier as Mind is on the Surface, it is very much there, all over us, ruling on us like a king. But we forgot about the real owner, real king which is “Soul”. You are your own owner. “SWA-AMI” means YOU - the owner, you - the victorious one, the Soul. No one else can be your Swaami, unless you let them be your owner. Mind is an employee, following the orders of the owner “Soul”. But if you start giving too much power to the one who is not actually the owner, you know what happens then!!! It amazes me to see even spiritual people, Yoga teachers all practicing “Mindfulness”, while they clearly know what “Spirit-uality” is. It is about us, it is about our spirit, our soul. Mind is completely scattered so we have to learn different types of “Mindfulness”. There are tons of Mindfulness practice for example Mindful Eating, Mindful Meditation, Mindful Psychotherapy, Mindful speaking, Listening, Showering and what not. But the strongest point of Soulfulness practice is , it is all-in-one practice/medicine for all. Once Soulfulness is practiced, once the focus is the Soul and not the Mind, all negativities, all that is not serving you right now, all the weaknesses will start falling off automatically. Now few obvious question that arises:
Universal Law: “Whatever thing, person or attitude you focus on, that thing, person or attitude becomes stronger and stronger.” So in the practice of Mindfulness the focus always remains on “The Mind” or “the Senses”. And in Soulfulness focus is “The Soul”. According to the Masters, the real power which is constantly working behind the scenes every moment, is Soul. They also mention that even though there are yogic techniques to concentrate and gather the power of mind but generally it is scattered. Even while the mind is focused, the power of Soul is way beyond our imagination. Secondly, the difference is between their existence itself. According to the Enlightened Master like Acharya Shree Yogeesh and many more have mentioned that Mind does not exist. While our own existence here on Earth at this moment proves that Soul exists. But our dilemma is due to lack of knowledge and wisdom, we never learnt to go deep into the Soul level. We only love being on the Mind Level, as it is on the surface and tricky at the same time. We have always loved to be in illusion, trying to master the mind, to read mind, to manipulate mind and what not. Let’s take two examples to understand this difference: Example 1) Eating Mindfully: Now in this practice, we are taught constantly to watch what we are eating, be aware of the food that we put in our mouth, eat with awareness, CONTROL your mind, CONTROL your senses, focus on what food has how much calories and how much fat,. So after sometime of watching everything it seems to be overwhelming as “Controlling Mind” becomes the focus. And mind is that Monkey who would never ever stop jumping here and there. And finally you give up, learn to suppress cravings, create deficiencies, headaches, confusion, frustration etc. Example 2) Mindful Meditation: First of all, Meditation is not “to do” something. It just happens. Let’s see what exactly happens when you sit for “Mindful Meditation”. As soon as you sit, after few minutes, your focus comes to mind. How? As the stream of thoughts starts to come one by one. You are now asked “To Do” something. Let me repeat this again: Meditation is not a verb where we do anything, Meditation is a noun - we do nothing, it happens. So now back to the point. We start bringing our focus on the thoughts (product of mind), emotions (sense), breath (sense), body sensations, taste, smell, sight etc etc, all these are on the surface again. We never go beyond this point as by this time we have already lost tremendous energy focusing on wrong things. We just get up, tired, sleepy or with painful body. Would just controlling, watching or being aware of Mind and Sense help? Don’t be shy to say “NO”. It will only strengthen the very nature of Mind and Senses - which it Scattered and jumping around. It never worked or will work like that. Remember when you press the ball harder and harder and then throw it against the wall, that ball will bounce back 10 times faster and harder at you. So will your mind. Now let's see then how can Soulfulness Practice take care of all these issues. First of all, as mentioned earlier, Soulfulness is practiced in WHOLE. This practice does not have Soulful Eating, Soulful Meditation and so on. Its just a simple practice All-in one. In soulfulness practice, the focus slowly goes beyond mind. Once practiced for sometime, one can even ignore and then bypass Mind. Now nothing will bother you anymore. Thoughts, emotions, senses and all the byproducts of Mind are being bypassed. Slowly the power comes back to the real kind, the real owner of our being - “Our Soul”, which has infinite power. 2) Just listed first few Benefits of Practicing Soulfulness, while there are many on this list. (Symptoms that your practice of Soulfulness is taking you to the right path.)
As our focus is on the Soul now, considering in mind, “every soul counts”, We need to first realize and accept that life is everywhere, and if we want to progress further, we can’t be doing that on cost of other living being. We can’t hurt other living beings for our hunger. First step is adopting to live on principle of non-violence, not only for the sake of other living being but for your own health. If this very important step is missed out you can’t jump to the next step. Never. Non-Violence also included abusing your own body. Human body is a very precious gift. We have got this after living 8.4 million lives in different body starting from Algae, bacteria, animal, tree, and millions of other lives. So we need to value this by being aware of what we put into our body. Alcohol, cigarettes, and other intoxicating or addictive substance harms a lot. Practicing Soulfulness will also help you to get rid of addictions. This will be covered in different blog and video. But for now let's go to the next step. The technique which I am going to mention here is not new, is a yogic technique, called “Tratka”. Like many of you, my journey of weight loss seemed to be never ending. The struggle seemed to be ongoing. Like all of you, I tried everything to loose weight eg: different diets, starving myself, workouts, life styles etc. More than anything maintaining the weight was a daily battlefield. Everything seemed to create only stress, nothing gave me a permanent solution. I am sharing this with all of you as I know how difficult it is being over weight and trying to loose weight throughout the life. Deep down we all know that it’s not healthy being over weight, diseases easily attacks and energy level is always low. I want you to feel and realize how it is to get freedom from diets, workouts and stressful life. I was slowly but steadily able to loose weight, become healthier than ever before with the Practice of Yoga. Yes YOGA can help you to reduce weight IF spiritual knowing is infused with awareness and proper guidance. So let go further and discover how spirituality can make impossible “I’m possible”. Now, I am no longer worried about CONTROLLING my weight, diet, lifestyle and my life. From 86 kgs to 61 kgs. I am no longer worried about over eating, cravings, acidity and indigestion. Yes, it is possible. Possible through Self-Improvement with Spirituality. My will power and devotion to improve my whole being with proper guidance is my secret. I have got freedom from so much controlling process in my life. Self-Improvement becomes natural and simply happens when we turn our focus inwards, become spiritual. Before starting to understand why any weight loss program or diets or lifestyle change, failed, I first started to understand what exactly is weight, what are the causes of weight gain and then comes the step where weight loss happens. What according to me the Weight is? You have been given this beautiful human life as a gift after around 8.4 million lives in the body starting from algae, bacteria, animal, tree and so on. This body carries the weight, gets the shape, features etc according to something called “Karma”. We are born pure, that’s the gift, but eventually we destroy this instrument by abusing it with inappropriate food, negativities, alcohol, smoking etc. Whatever discomfort, diseases, abnormalities in our bodies are due to this “Karma”. So if we try to understand this little by little we can not only achieve the physical goals in life but also spiritual growth also kicks off. “Spirituality is Practicality” - Acharya Shree Yogeesh Let's try to understand what type of Karma you might have collected. What type of karma you might have made a strong hold on your entire being inside and out? Deepest ditch which can not be ever fulfilled is the ditch of hunger. You will never be satisfied with food, whatever comes on your way it goes into your body. This might also be put as strong desire and greed of food or many worldly things have made home into this home (our body - where we live). Desire and Greed are like an open sky which will never be fulfilled. A person can adopt any shortcut or take wrong path to fulfil this greed and desire. The result of sneaking or stealing money or food is you collecting lots of bad karma or toxins around your body inside and out. But believe me, if that is understood 100%, from your deepest being, you can easily reverse it. So understand this concept and learn to have some kind of discipline in your eating habits and lifestyle. That’s what I did. What Practice did I do? Three simple steps to understand the weight gain or weight loss. Step 1: First step is to STOP the source of Toxins/Fat or “Karma”. I stopped abusing my body. I started to live on the principle of Non violence, understood this huge concept is a very simplest manner. The first simple but the most important step is to give a boost to your energy levels, immune system, metabolism and weight loss process. For now we will try and understand a little aspect of Non-violence, which is to become vegetarian. We won’t go in details of it as there are lots of videos and articles available online which shows why you should become vegetarian. I will post some interesting links to the videos on why to become vegetarian? Once you have taken this life changing step, you have now initiated your weight loss process. So now just being vegetarian or if you are already vegetarian that does not mean the goal has been achieved yet. But yes you have an advantage to move forward quickly. Step 2: Understand what are other toxins? Belly is the root. All the information is sent from this area to the brain to process. But if the information itself is incorrect, manipulated, polluted, heavy how can you expect the clean and perfect results from the brain? So do not put into this stomach which is harmful such as alcohol, meat, greasy food etc. Other than just food, there are many influxes into our being. Many are subtle and many are visible. Many of them have manifested into our body in the form of fat, parasites, diseases etc. There are many toxins, but few of them are your Thoughts, Emotions, Anger, Cravings and many more like step 3. Step 3: This is final but very important step is to WATCH. Watch with Awareness. Watch what? W - Watch your Words A - Watch your Actions T - Watch your Time C - Watch your Conduct H - Watch your Habits Now you would say how all of the above can contribute to my weight gain or weight loss. Yes these are the huge contributors. Knowingly or unknowingly if we don’t start watching all of the above, we are collecting the fruits of our ignorance. There are many scriptures which teaches about all the above. To know more about how all the above can impact your weight, you may read some jain scriptures for more details. I will post the links soon.. I will just share one very interesting question in a jain text: Someone asked the master: Why this body is distorted, abnormally bulging, never able to loose weight no matter what? The master replied: the employee or a person who steals from the employer collects that kind of karma which makes him/her bulging, fat and will never loose weight until he/she is self realized. So WATCH your Actions. - (Book Gautam Pruccha, Enlightened Master Mahaveera Answers Questions) This is a clear example of greediness and desire. One can go or take any path where they can be profited or their desire gets fulfilled. In short “As you sow so shall you reap”. How to increase awareness to keep on WATCHing? -Intensified pranayama with my teacher’s guidance. -Meditated whenever possible. Keeping all above 3 steps in mind, I moved forward. I know, I am moving forward as I realized and felt like the layers of toxins are being peeled off. Layers by layers of negativities, emotions, past events, guilts, pre-conceived ideas, grudges, beliefs, etc. all seemed to have settled within suddenly started to dust off slowly. With every layers of emotions, anger, hate and revengefulness shedding off, I felt lighter and lighter. The body fat started to reduce. Intensive pranayama “Purnam Yoga” helped me to purge all the emotions, negativities, anger out of my system. During each and every yoga and meditation practice, I learnt to cry it off, accept the past, let it go, live in present etc. In my initial practice lot of past events came on the surface. Remained there for few days, bothering me, keeping me uncomfortable, distracted. But slowly I learnt how to collect courage, face it and finally purge it away through Purnam Yoga & Meditation. Now how would you know that you have started to peel the layers off?
To understand this clearing of toxins and burning karma let me give what my layers looked like and how I managed to clear them off. Past Grief, Abuse or Events Your own Wrong Conduct Cry it off. Let go. Accept what happened - overcome the stage and not feel guilty - “Guilt is a Biggest Sin”. Let it go - Dissolved it through meditation. Confess it out to - The most Trusted person is a Spiritual Master. Forgiveness to the one who did it. Realize that the past is gone. Let it come to your surface. Vow to yourself you will not repeat the mistake again and stick to it Purge it out of the system through yoga. Close the source of this negativity forever. Forgive yourself and forget. No matter how hard you try to melt down that fat through your physical action like exercise, workout or diet, but if you have never learnt how and what to feed your soul, you will never achieve the goal. Practicing to Live in the Soul fully, listening to your intuition or your heart is called "Soulfulness". So what does "Mindfulness" mean? Living in Your Mind or head. Through your practice to remain focused on your mind, you have not achieved much. Have you? You regained your weight, you still are angry, you still eat whatever you see. Learn what is food for the Soul? Once you know what is food for Soul, you will automatically start sheding not only all the layers of fat, but many negativities, like anger, depression, loneliness etc will be gone. Final words to conclude is that I eventually learnt how to practice "Soulfulness". Yes you think it is now a new concept while you just started to learn practicing Mindfulness? If you have practiced mindfulness before, let me give you a little hint. Mindfulness is the new concept. But the "Real Masters” teach to practice soulfulness, which is an Ancient practice but forgotten, unfortunately. According to them Mind does not exist at all, but we all know Soul exists, as our own existence proves it by itself. You may read how I practice soulfulness. Read my another blog on how to practice soulfulness. “Mind is such a fool, which is never full.” So now you know why your practice of Mindfulness never worked permanently as you have proved it by yourself, by reading this blog, as you might be also struggling through the weight loss process and nothing have worked yet, not even Mindfulness. So why not try Soulfulness. And wait whatever good that has happened while practicing mindfulness, if you focus deeply, all has happened because of Soulfulness. Mind is always on the Surface and Soul is deep. So we are familiar with mind only. So if you understand this, we can easily put our self improvement process on fire. Many things have inspired me to write this blog about the fear of Corona Virus eg: people stocking food and toiletries for more than couple of months, overstocking bottled water, over use of sanitizers, not going out and staying at home for prolonged period of time, hearing news about the deaths and living in continuous fear. Nothing from all the above is wrong. But it is out of FEAR. A MASS FEAR. And FEAR is a negative quality which now have double, tripled in our whole being. When negative quality comes in mass that quality becomes 1000 times stronger in this case million times. And unfortunately we all have contributed to this in small or big amount.
