I can list a few very extraordinary strengths commonly found in such kids, and which need more attention than their weaknesses. ***Most of them have a very compassionate nature, are extremely kind-hearted and loves to help. ***Some have an excellent memory, grasping skills and tremendous learning capabilities. So what should parent do? How to enhance or put more attention to the qualities. As a wise parent, you may talk about these strengths of your child very often to them, instead of usual advice about food, junk food intake, weight problems, scaring them about what will happen health wise , etc etc? So pay attention and know what your Child's real passion is, encourage and engage them with those activities for positive & productive use of time and energy. 3. Absolutely do not increase their attachments towards outsiders, it can be harmful or dangerous. It would be an escape, if parents would try to feed this monster called “Attachment”. It will be a big mistake. I am not asking to simply detach from everything, no it is not recommended, but atlas understand what is Attachment? What is the result of too much Attachment to a thing, Once the concept of detachment is understood, why is it important and what is the outcome of practicing little detachment will be a tremendous help. Because since as a child the attachment has blinded the child completely. The child can not see himself alive if that person, pet or things is taken away from him/her. In a way we all have tendency to seek so called “love” outside, in a person, pet or thing. This could be very dangerous or life treating as any outsider can take advantage. As a parent you must learn the concept of self-love or how to handle loneliness and convert this feeling of isolation into aloneness, strong from inside. In aloneness, you are not missing anyone, you feel complete and peaceful within. You as a parent learn what exactly in our body? Know what you really are? Understand the Difference between Religion and Spirituality 1) Religion is like a small box where only few directions are approved to be the right ones. While spirituality is like an open sky, it give you lots and lots of opportunity to rediscover yourself. 2) Following Religious beliefs is like following a sheep. If one sheep goes in one direction, others will automatically follow them without knowing where exactly the path leads to. While path of spirituality leads directly towards “YOU”, no where else but you. Your inward journey begins with right spiritual teacher or guidance. 3) A religious person has an urge to easily and always “cling” with other group, cult or organization. While with real spiritual guidance, you learn how to explore yourself, how to practice detachment with worldly desires and still be strong within, while living in the society. Thus real spiritual student has a strong urge to learn about himself/herself, burn karma and thus walks strongly towards freedom. Spiritual path can be followed in “Aloneness”, while still being in a huge crowd. 4) Most common thing that we find in Religion are those made up stories, which does not even make sense in reality. Due to those unreal, twisted and tempered stories of enlightened masters or God. Many Atheists, logical minded or those who can not digest or believe in such stories are the people who are turned down by religious groups. And those are the people fortunately have more chances to be awakened as they are not into such mess.
