What comes before Alignment?
Lots of steps are being missed before we step into practicing how to bring alignment into our body. When we jump or if someone teaches through only Yoga Postures to bring alignment again and again, it works but temporarily. It gives result but usually it is very slow, temporary adjustment happens and some relief is experienced. Body comes back to its painful condition again very soon. There is a solution to this when we practice Yoga as a “WHOLE”
In many scriptures it has been mentioned that Human life is gifted to us after living different lives for 8.4 million times. Starting from the body of an Algae, bacteria, reptiles, trees, animals etc to the body of Human. The most important tool that human has, is a developed mind. But somehow this tool is misused, overused and eventually it took all the powers from the real King ie “SOUL”. While the mind is just a “Tool”, if used correctly we can rediscover very precious gifts that we all have within ourselves. These three gifts are priceless as it leads you towards good health, good mind and good soul. What else would you need?
Niyamas : Personal observances Asanas : Body postures Pranayamas : Breathing exercises Pratyahara : Looking Inside, Detachment Dharana : Concentration and cultivating awareness Dhyana : Meditation Samadhi : Highest State of Consciousness Conclusion: All three gifts are here, right now with us, but they became invisible due to our blindfoldedness. We are so blindfolded that we can not even see the helping hands who can help us to remove the layers of darkness and pull us towards light. This light helps us to now enjoy the privilege of having these gifts. Each gifts if we understand closely, has infinite power within themselves. Our whole being is lifted in such a manner that there will be no looking back. Simple tip to experience Self-Realization: During the moments of lowest energy peak like sadness, pain or sorrow, when you feel completely lost, depressed and in dark, close your eyes and from very bottom of your being ask for help or recite mantra - Devine Sound "Om". Maybe each cells of your body is seeking for a real help, real friend who would never deceive you, judge you, just be there for you whenever you have asked for. Once you have done that, trust your voice and tell yourself that if the help is realized you will fully be dedicated to be on that path. Practice this as many times as you can and you will see the help appears right there. Your vision starts to improve. Your true Non-Violent nature will come on the surface. Yoga will then Happen.
