Human Mind is the blessings to wake yourself up. Just little thing can wake you up. It does not require much. Story of popular monk: He was a rich business men named Gopal, who had a good habit. Early morning before sunrise he wakes up and goes to a morning walk. It gives you fresh air. While he was walking, a lady was also waking up her son, whose name was Gopal too. She was saying, “Gopal, wake up.” While he was passing by he heard his name “Gopal!”. Mother said again: “Gopal, Wake up”. He wants to listen to her carefully as someone was calling his name and drew his attention. Mother said: “Gopal, it’s time to wake up. Night has gone, dark disappeared, Sun has risen, wake up Gopal, Wake Up.” Child still does not wake up, mother said again; “Gopal, I am telling you now, look dark has disappeared, beautiful morning, sun has risen, how long you will sleep Gopal, How long ?” And the way she says that it wakes him up fully. He is outside on the street, he thinks she is hitting me so hardly, very deep, he rushes home instead of morning walk. He woke up his wife. Asked her to bring the will, paper, I did not sign yet, but I wrote the will. Wife said: "Why? What happened?" He said: “ You will not understand. Dark has disappeared, Night has gone. Beautiful morning, sun has risen.” Repeated those words. He asked to wake up theirs sons. They all came, and asked him: “What happened dad? He repeats the same words: “Dark has disappeared, Night has gone. Beautiful morning, sun has risen, wake up Gopal, Wake up.” He handed over everything and left, and became a very popular monk. Story of Bernard Shaw born in England, famous poet, suddenly wakes up how? He used to go to the morning walk every days rule. No matter what I am going to wake up early and go for morning walk. All your glands, system, body is now filled up with oxygen and you remain healthy. One day he did not know about the parade in the morning. But as usual he went for a morning walk and he suddenly wakes up. We think we wake up everyday, NO. You don’t really wake up, you open your eyes little bit that’s it. He suddenly woke up. He sees everywhere walking cemetery. Everywhere walking. He wrote this in his book and after 10 pages he explained what was walking cemetery? And since that day he woke up. He sees every one walking on that street, thousands of people, but he happened to him, where we bury dead body is called cemetery. Bernard shaw became vegetarian. Nobody taught him, he woke up by himself. He said no I am not going to bury in my body dead body any more. He learn by himself. Developed mind. It is a Real incident. Nobody taught him what vegetarianism is? No body taught him what this body is, how to handle it, what to eat, and what not to eat? My Wake Up Call: Years back , when I decided to go for morning walks no matter how harsh is the weather and situation. I enjoyed walking by myself in nature with soothing music in my ears. Watching sun rising, birds, trees, little stream flowing etc. After a good walk, I use to sit to meditate under a tree. After few months, it became my habit, it seems that nature was calling me to visit every morning. My health started to improve, lot of clarity came, but deep down I was seeking a real guidance to do something big with this life of mine. Constantly seeking someone to help me to discover these mysteries of life. I kept on walking as I knew nature will was helping me already. When I walked everyday, I felt being one with nature, trees became my friends, as if nature started to communicate with me. I had an idea that we are definitely not thrown out on this earth randomly, to just work, eat, raise kids, earn money, become a good parent, become old and then die. Many mysteries of life was constantly on my mind and I was certain that I just don’t want to remain in limbo without the questions unanswered for my whole life and then die one. Fortunately technology, Youtube and Social media was available where I can at least attempt to look if there is someone out there to help me? During my search, I found on YouTube Acharya Shree Yogeesh who talked about Soul, spiritual practices and how to meditation helps etc. My search was still on. Because traditionally most religion talks about and worships the person who is not living? And those who are living are in 1000s, in different robes, orange, white, red, yellow and son on, all teaching religion. How can we learn from someone who is in the form of photo, or statue or book etc. How can I trust what others are saying from the book? As they did not write the book? Neither it seem logical to practice and digest in the real world what’s written in the book. Whom to trust? Is there a living God, who can guide us directly? My morning walks continue for years and am constantly looking for a guide very deeply. And then one morning during my walk, I felt nature so lively and waking me up, giving me a constant vision when I close my eyes to meditate quietly under the tree, that there is a living God on this earth, wearing a white robe, holding my hand, and I am like a little short girl walking with him, climbing very very long stairs towards the sky, towards light, towards full moon light, leaving everything behind just walking peacefully, trusting him like a daughter trusts her father. Completely, no doubts, full of love, compassion, power, positivity. I saw this again and again as soon as I closed my eyes. And suddenly I realized that person was no one else other than my Guru Acharya Shree Yogeesh. Same day I decided to visit his Ashram in Texas and start learning from him. This moment was my wake up call. It was constantly waking me up, saying how long I can not trust someone and not even take a single step to learn. How long I can live with unsolved mysteries of live, unhealthy life style, directionless way of living? Since that visit to the Ashram I have never stopped my spiritual practices, countless mysteries have been unfolded, tremendous amount of darkness and confusion are gone, lot of clarity came, tremendous trust on myself hav developed, many inner enemies have been taken care of eg: anger, ego, deceitfulness, hatred, envy etc. Life has taken 360 degree turn and now at the point where looking at true nature of mine compassionate, loving, flowing, peaceful has become very easy. Being with myself , in the body has become so comfortable and a blessing that every day I want to go deeper and deeper to merge within. I hope everyone can understand this waking up call, and find peace within, instead of searching it outside in the Temple, Mosques, churches and holy books. Trust yourself first before trusting anyone else. “That learning is the right learning where the knowledge is in the form of knowing - Directly from the Soul, Not for the books or texts. So when it surpasses this bolting degree, automatically your blood becomes a poison. If you are angry on someone you might not hurt other person yet, because you are not hitting the person , but you are already damaging yourself. Because anger kills you first. The main reason is that most of us try to suppress it or control it due to which it becomes bigger and bigger. It now becomes like a devil inside. Anger is the madness of the mind. Today’s human’s burning problem is anger. Everyone says that “I have too much anger”. Many people Show it, many controls and suppress it. Many just closes off from everything and everyone. People often say “I’m not angry”. But if someone does something wrong they will say “I just can not tolerate it”. If a child does not do something good or does something wrong they would say “ I have to show the anger.” But these are wrong logics, in the real sense, anger is simply sitting inside. That is why it comes out in some or other way. Actually, it waits for a little trigger or excuses to come out. If it is controlled inside, it becomes abusive and very abusive. If it is not inside of you, the what it is that is coming out. Eg: if someone wants to pull water out from the well, they throw bucket in the well and pull out water “if” there is water it will come out, if not then is empty bucket. Symptom's of Angry Person
8 ways to dissolve Anger: First instruction is to think strongly and accept the fact fully that “I am responsible for my anger”. Take responsibility on yourself. Understand that "Anger is in me, others only triggers it". Second instruction: when you are angry look at yourself in the mirror and be quiet, so you will not even recognize yourself. Because your face is red, it might change shape and you will not like it at all. Third, drink cold water. If you forget ask someone that “If I get angry, give me cold water”. Cold water will work right away. Fourth, If you are holding anger for someone, talk with that person. How you will talk? Nice way, not yelling or screaming. It does not help at all. It will create more fight and arguments. Talking about it helps to slowly dissolve it. Fifth, try to count from 100, 99, 98… reverse it up to 1. Sixth, change the place, go outside. If you are surrounded with people, just leave the room and go outside for a walk. Seventh, every night meditate with the full moon. Meditating with the full moon, you will calm down all the time and will feel peace. You simply have to visualize full moon, Visualize bright white light entering from your crown to head, forehead, eyes, chin, face and thus dissolving into you enter self. Eighth way is to understand forgiveness. Absence of anger is a real forgiveness. If there is presence of anger there is no forgiveness. Don't pile or suppress this heaviness within you. Work on dissolving this right now. Finally the strongest way is to watch it, observe it and follow the instructions fully. It will feel calm and peaceful inside. Now I will share which techniques I used from the above to take care of my anger issues. Anger was just sitting there to come out and waited for some triggers, always. As it is the natural way of the body to purge the toxins out. The last one, to watch with awareness helped me tremendously to make me feel peace and free from inside. I feel very light hearted and can really enjoy those joyful moments at the fullest. What worked for me and how? 1) Whenever anger trigger. I watched myself. 2) Whatever action was taken after the anger triggered, I observed it, recalled it during meditation as I could not help to work on it as it disturbed me a lot. 3) I watched how disturbed I remained until I accept that I was responsible, no one else was suppose to blame and being aware of that helped me to go little further on dissolving this devil. 4) Next meditating visualizing the cool, white moon rays on me helps me to calm down a lot. 5) Vowing to myself that I will try my best to improve further while being aware of my negative feeling gave a complete feeling of freedom was just awesome. You must try, trust and practice. Otherwise this devil loves to remain within your being as a permanent home, forever. Another tip or "the Best" way to avoid any arguments or fight between any relationship is trying to understand life in multi dimension. We need to start understanding and seeing the situation from others point of view. once we start practicing this, fights, arguments and thus anger will lessen its frequency. Finally, understanding how much damage anger has already done to your relationship, physical and mental health will helped me to remain calm and balanced in any situation. Understanding that in forgiving others is not a big deal at all, you just made yourself in higher position and put others down. First thing is to look at your mistakes first. Look at how much damage did you do to yourself, your relationship, how much others suffer, kids, family, parents. Criticizing others and finding other's mistake is very easy, but looking at yourself is the hardest thing to do. Bura jo dekhan mein chala, bura na milaya koi. Jo Dil khoja apna, mujhse bura na koi. -Sant Kabir Meaning: I searched for the crooked, but failed to find a single one. When I searched within myself, "I" found the crooked one. But once you have started your inward journey to look within, peace, joy and happiness is not far away from you. Remember that Anger creates toxins in the body. Learn how to dissolve it otherwise it acts as a silent killer. If you don't take care of this now, many physical or mental health issues can arise. Being an Angry person is not bad as yet, but if you do not work on it, it could be worst. GU: “Darkness” RU : “One Who Removes” Understanding who is the real Guru, where to find, how to differentiate between real and fake ones etc is very important, so that we are not trapped with fake Gurus and their worn out traditions. There are millions of advisors, counsellors, thousands of masters and gurus. It thus becomes challenging to know who is real and who is fake. Most of them look similar, peaceful, humble and well respected in the “Society". Teachings are almost the same. They teach mostly about life, chakras, healthy living, yoga etc. But there is a very fine line between real and fake ones. Know what is the main cause of you not finding a Real Guru - Enlightened One? The main blockage is your vision. Right vision is very important to find a Guru. This blockage is called Darshanavarniya Karma. Due to this heavy karma you are unable to discover the real teacher. What are the causes of Darshanavarniya Karma? Mainly Ego is the cause of this darkness. To remove this blockage, one must learn first how to surrender? How not to live in Head and start your journey from Head to Heart. Simply long for it and you will get it. Longing comes from heart. Promise yourself that you will change and you want to change as this suffering must go and right path must be seen. Once the search starts from deep down with pure heart and pure intension, you will find the Guru right away. Why is Guru needed for your progress towards Healthy, Happy and Peaceful life? The enlighten one (He/She) shows the real path and you will never be lost in this universe. He/She becomes like an Island and you make take refuge in, anytime during this strong tides in the ocean of life. He/She gives you a little spark with which you can initiate yourself towards transformation. Guru is much needed in the physical form first as they enter into your consciousness and your transformation is triggered. Many Atheists, logical minded or those who can not digest or believe in such stories are the people who are turned down by religious groups. And those are the people fortunately have more chances to be awakened as they are not into such mess. They are told if you don’t do the rituals or say no to the tradition, you will be a big sinner. Spirituality gives a clear vision to understand what is right for your soul to improve. This was my initial stage of being a truth seeker. I did some classes and few courses. But literally, did not feel any energy or felt that whatever was taught was so superficial. Today’s Reiki Practitioner are in a situation like: you want to give money, but you yourself don’t have enough? How can a sick person heal others? Who can do Shaktipaat? Only advanced Spiritual practitioners can do some level of Shaktipaat. Those who have worked on their body, mind and soul to purify, are able to give some energy. Not only that person is physically fit, but have also worked for years on purging their own toxins like negativity from their system, eg jealousy, anger, hatred, and ego. Lives in Harmony with all living being. This needs years of Spiritual practices to clear chakras and raise his/her energy. Even it this person touches you with compassion, within no time you will feel little shift within you. Enlightened one and advanced spiritual practitioners are the one who can heal from distance but it works only if you put your own efforts. "No matter whoever puts efforts to do Shaktipaat, if your efforts is zero, and you are simply relaxing on the Reiki Table, it's all in vain." - Shailaja Shaktipaat, only works if Spiritual Practitioner's pure energy (just a context; energy is always pure) merges with your efforts to heal. Your efforts can be in the form of daily spiritual practices eg: meditation, yoga, helping others, self analysis, collecting good karma, understanding bad karma, burning karmas, etc. Do not remain in illusion, awaken yourself. Love Shailaja The very first episode, where the journey really started was when I was Hurt. You don’t care much about others but yes, when your closest person hurts you, it hurts really deep. When I really got hurt, it made me think again and again. Why me? What wrong did I do? Do I deserve being hurt again and again? This question was wondering around my entire being since ages. Through years of Spiritual practice, I realized, how it works? Yes, it takes some time to practice but its all worth it. Hundreds of life’s puzzles are solved, mysteries reveal and you really start living as a new born with lots of energy and awareness. It is just a life's ways to make you stronger. So let’s talk about Being Hurt. Why I choose this topic? Because this being hurt, became so repetitive that if made me a real Truth Seeker. I wanted to learn why all human being has to go through this pain and suffering. Lots of questions stormed my brain. Is it even possible to live life without being hurt, being angry and happy always? This “Being Hurt” was the strong urge and was a click somehow to take a U- turn in life. With this U-turn I thus started a real journey towards me, myself, looking inside. My Guru always says, all the answers can be found from within. Until then I was all about being a wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, mom, sister, etc etc but now its was all about finding myself. So thus “Being Hurt” helped me in a way to kick start my spiritual journey. So now let’s see what exactly is being hurt? Is that really me that is being hurt? If I have learnt that the soul is in constant bliss or I have learnt our true nature is being in joy and happiness, so where is pain and heartbreaks come from? Let’s about who you really are? Do you identify yourself as a mother, daughter, father, engineer, doctor, Hindu, Muslim, Christian…… In a process to know myself, the very first darkest shield I had to pull off from my being was EGO. Now EGO is very sneaky, it is in disguise in the form of almost anything a degree, education, money, power, profession, caste, religion, and much much more. EGO makes the permanent shield like around your soul, but once this is removed somehow, the path towards discovering yourself becomes little clear. What gets hurt is your image that you yourself created knowingly or unknowingly. This image is a family of EGO or in the form of desire “to become something”. Whenever situation arrises that you have been hurt, always recall that it is not you but is the image that has been created. So now what to do about it? Can you dissolve this image and if so how? Yes, you can dissolve this image. How? By paying attention to it. Pay so much attention. Just be in tune with this hurt. It might take few moments, few hours, days or weeks, Time does not matter but within no time, once your attention becomes stronger towards this hurt, understanding what image exactly was hurt, will help you to suddenly drop that image. And within no time, you will be relieved and come out of it strong and bright. Now I will give you few practical examples which will help you to stop being hurt and not only that dissolve the past hurts as well. Eg:1) So if at work, you have been working hard day and night. Thrive to be the best employee on the month. Have sacrificed your family and man fun things so that you can work harder, make company profitable and keep your boss happy. One day the same boss or a company becomes upset due to your little mistake, makes you feel incompetent or does not promote you etc. You are hurt? Nope your Eg:2) Despite long hours of work, day and night , you as a mom or dad have always tried to make family members happy. You are doing the best you can to keep family happy. You have done this continuously for 20 years for your family and someone closest to your heart would complain : You have never been able to give me time, love , money etc etc in life. You are hurt? Eg:3) Your son/daughter says: “You are not a good cook, my friends mom cooks so well”. You are hurt? Eg:4) Someone says “ Your religion teaches weird stuff , you are all the same”. You are hurt? In all the above cases, start to understand exactly who is hurt. Is that you? Or the image you created? Eg:1) an “Employee” striving to prove and “become” a productive, hard working person. What is the image? Employee What he/she wants to become? Productive and hard working (Image again) Eg:2 & 3) a “mom/dad” striving to “become” a “good parent” Eg:4) A “religious person” is hurt. It is important to understand that whenever this image is created, it always gives you pain as you now strive to “become the perfect reflection of that image”. Once this image is hit by someone else’s speech, thoughts and behaviour, it hurts. Now this is a negative feeling, what you should do in this condition? First understand what image is being hurt. Pay full attention to the situation, the hurt and the pain. Always remember, "It is just a life's way to make you look inside and thus make you stronger." "When you pay attention to your negative qualities, they will tend to run away, drop or loose its power, while paying attention to your good and positive qualities, it will enhance, increase and will help you progress faster on your path.” So the next step is now clear. Focus more on who you really are? The souls’ basic nature is to be in peace, harmony with all other living being, helping, cheerful and always in bliss. When you focus even for few moments, these quality will start increasing within you and make you stronger. So start destroying these images one at a time from today. Do not waste a single moment. Once this thick shield of darkness is removed, your life becomes lighter and much more happier than ever before. It is your life, please do not waste it by being sad, hurt and angry all the time. I know it hurts, and hurts truly deep, when that person who is hurting is closest to your heart. But take this as an opportunity to improve yourself and help yourself to live a blissful life. Remember you can not improving for other, to get compliments or praise, you are doing so for your own inner peace. Take this situation positively by seeing it as a life's way to make your stronger. Take a step towards light not the darkness. Darkness has a tendency to pull you down more and more, but you must know that you have infinite power within. I have written more before but in the form of a piece of advice, but I also realize that I myself is still in learning process, or am still a student, would not be capable of advice. So now I will sharing my own experiences in a form of a learning process for all those who are craving to learn about life and spiritual practices, thus might be able to solve most mysterious life’s puzzles. Love Shailaja Yes it’s called “Soulfulness”. Never heard that before? Let me reveal this first, that all the Real Masters, since the beginning of Human Life, no matter what era they were born, all have practiced and taught “Soulfulness”. It is forgotten, lost its popularity because now we started to live on the surface. And “Mind” lives on the surface.
If Soulfulness is so profound and beneficial then why it is not popular and not talked about? Unfortunately it is forgotten due to lack of knowing, understanding and mainly due to our own habit of following the crowd like a sheep following the herd. We adopted practicing “Mindfulness” so fast, because it seemed easier as Mind is on the Surface, it is very much there, all over us, ruling on us like a king. But we forgot about the real owner, real king which is “Soul”. You are your own owner. “SWA-AMI” mean you - the owner, you - the victorious one, the Soul. No one else can be your Swaami, unless you let them be your owner. Mind is an employee, following the orders of the owner “Soul”. But if you start giving too much power to the one who is not actually the owner, you know what happens then!!! It amazes me to see even spiritual people, Yoga teachers all practicing “Mindfulness”, while they clearly know what “Spirit-uality” is. It is about us, it is about our spirit, our soul. Mind is completely scattered so we have to learn different types of “Mindfulness”. There are tons of Mindfulness practice for example Mindful Eating, Mindful Meditation, Mindful Psychotherapy, Mindful speaking, Listening, Showering and what not. But the strongest point of Soulfulness practice is , it is all-in-one practice/medicine for all. Once Soulfulness is practiced, once the focus is the Soul and not the Mind, all negativities, all that is not serving you right now, all the weaknesses will start falling off automatically. Now few obvious question that arises:
Universal Law: “Whatever thing, person or attitude you focus on, that thing, person or attitude becomes stronger and stronger.” So in the practice of Mindfulness the focus always remains on “The Mind” or “the Senses”. And in Soulfulness focus is “The Soul”. According to the Masters, the real power which is constantly working behind the scenes every moment, is Soul. They also mention that even though there are yogic techniques to concentrate and gather the power of mind but generally it is scattered. Even while the mind is focused, the power of Soul is way beyond our imagination. Secondly, the difference is between their existence itself. According to the Enlightened Master like Acharya Shree Yogeesh and many more have mentioned that Mind does not exist. While our own existence here on Earth at this moment proves that Soul exists. But our dilemma is due to lack of knowledge and wisdom, we never learnt to go deep into the Soul level. We only love being on the Mind Level, as it is on the surface and tricky at the same time. We have always loved to be in illusion, trying to master the mind, to read mind, to manipulate mind and what not. Let’s take two examples to understand this difference: Example 1) Eating Mindfully: Now in this practice, we are taught constantly to watch what we are eating, be aware of the food that we put in our mouth, eat with awareness, CONTROL your mind, CONTROL your senses, focus on what food has how much calories and how much fat,. So after sometime of watching everything it seems to be overwhelming as “Controlling Mind” becomes the focus. And mind is that Monkey who would never ever stop jumping here and there. And finally you give up, learn to suppress cravings, create deficiencies, headaches, confusion, frustration etc. Example 2) Mindful Meditation: First of all, Meditation is not “to do” something. It just happens. Let’s see what exactly happens when you sit for “Mindful Meditation”. As soon as you sit, after few minutes, your focus comes to mind. How? As the stream of thoughts starts to come one by one. You are now asked “To Do” something. Let me repeat this again: Meditation is not a verb where we do anything, Meditation is a noun - we do nothing, it happens. So now back to the point. We start bringing our focus on the thoughts (product of mind), emotions (sense), breath (sense), body sensations, taste, smell, sight etc etc, all these are on the surface again. We never go beyond this point as by this time we have already lost tremendous energy focusing on wrong things. We just get up, tired, sleepy or with painful body. Would just controlling, watching or being aware of Mind and Sense help? Don’t be shy to say “NO”. It will only strengthen the very nature of Mind and Senses - which it Scattered and jumping around. It never worked or will work like that. Remember when you press the ball harder and harder and then throw it against the wall, that ball will bounce back 10 times faster and harder at you. So will your mind. Now let's see then how can Soulfulness Practice take care of all these issues. First of all, as mentioned earlier, Soulfulness is practiced in WHOLE. This practice does not have Soulful Eating, Soulful Meditation and so on. Its just a simple practice All-in one. In soulfulness practice, the focus slowly goes beyond mind. Once practiced for sometime, one can even ignore and then bypass Mind. Now nothing will bother you anymore. Thoughts, emotions, senses and all the byproducts of Mind are being bypassed. Slowly the power comes back to the real kind, the real owner of our being - “Our Soul”, which has infinite power. 2) Just listed first few Benefits of Practicing Soulfulness, while there are many on this list. (Symptoms that your practice of Soulfulness is taking you to the right path.)
3) Last but very important, How do we practice Soulfulness? Any tools, techniques? As our focus is on the Soul now, considering in mind, “every soul counts”, We need to first realize and accept that life is everywhere, and if we want to progress further, we can’t be doing that on cost of other living being. We can’t hurt other living beings for our hunger. First step is adopting to live on principle of non-violence, not only for the sake of other living being but for your own health. If this very important step is missed out you can’t jump to the next step. Never. Non-Violence also included abusing your own body. Human body is a very precious gift. We have got this after living 8.4 million lives in different body starting from Algae, bacteria, animal, tree, and millions of other lives. So we need to value this by being aware of what we put into our body. Alcohol, cigarettes, and other intoxicating or addictive substance harms a lot. Practicing Soulfulness will also help you to get rid of addictions. This will be covered in different blog and video. But for now let's go to the next step. The technique which I am going to mention here is not new, is a yogic technique, called “Tratka”. Let’s come to the point directly: Those who have sleeping issues knows already that it is all about melatonin. For those who don’t know, melatonin is sleep hormone released by Pineal Glad at night time, after dark. There are lots of information on the net about this hormone, so won’t go in details. As it is now important how can I sleep better? What is blocking these hormones? By now you know how important is the night sleep for your body. Deep relaxation is way more important than being active. I am not asking you to become lazy. I am asking to let go are release yourself from stress and tensed muscles throughout the body. No one teaches, how to practice to be fully relaxed? There are simple techniques which one can practice for better sleep. This will guarantee you a sound sleep for life. Without practicing to relax, you can never solve this problem. Step 1: Change in Diet and timing Your diet plays very important role in your sleeping pattern. I dropped many heavy, oily, greasy food which were the major cause of sleepiness during the day time and disturbed night sleep due to indigestion. I dropped meat, many fried snacks, less chocolates, less sweet and caffeine intake throughout the day. Keep my body as light as possible before sleeping. Also I eat early before around 6-6:30 pm which give me enough time to feel lighter before I sleep. That means food gets little time to digest. Read about solar plexus chakra. When it is active and when is it slow. This will help you to understand why it is important to eat before sunsets. Step 2: Practice to let go. Let go with Pranayama. Due to lack of energy on to the sixth and seventh chakra, sleeping troubles can be experienced. But I do not recommend to work on 6th and 7th chakra directly. You first need to raise your energy up from first to second and so on to 7th. This will help activate your pineal gland, 7th Chakra. Head will be clear, blockages will be removed slowly. Many might have heavy hair loss and weaker nervous system, which will also be solved when the energy slowly starts moving on this 7th chakra that is the crown area. Energy will start moving in this area. Now concentrate where? Nowhere else but within yourself. Just focus on your body or a white light on your third eye area. Right between your eye brows. This last step I practice every single day just before I sleep. Just let go and then try to practice surrendering. On the bed you just let go of yourself. First you have to practice how to let go and how to surrender. Concentration and focusing technique will help your mind not to wander and just focus. Just let go like you are a still body. Surrender all your mind’s chaos, negativity and thoughts. Surrendering: Now what to surrender and whom to surrender? How does it help? Practice to surrender to whosoever you think as an idol, God, Divine etc. Above three simple steps are the definite solution for your sleep. It seems easy but maybe hard to practice. But slowly introducing above three steps in your lifestyle will give you infinite benefits starting from hormonal balance to healthy life. Love Shailaja As a child and now as an adult I have always questioned the unrealistic Religious Stories, which created a strong urge to know the truth, as I knew within that there is a symbolic meaning in it, I just could not get it.
Practicing Spirituality slowly reveals the mysteries of life. (According to my Guru-Acharya Shree Yogeesh). I did not understand at first, what exactly the mysteries he is talking about. But on my path, I have realized many aspects of truth, and realized those mysteries of life. Will share many in future. But this one I want to share as it relates to the current situation. Today after a night of Vaccination, even before that I had a feeling that I am going to get a new insight of life. What was coming, I was not sure? Today I realized during my Morning Yoga practice, the symbolic meaning of Shiva’s Poison Drink. What exactly the mystery reveals might be or might not be different from Religious interpretation or stories. But this is for those who were never been able to digest unrealistic religious stories, like me. What my realization today was: Whenever the enemy or the poison or the threat to humanity comes, what we should do? How can humanity fight against it? Shiva Taught this technique ages ago and it is still alive with his symbolic version. Unfortunately, people misinterpreted this with a sadness, and the quote gave a kind of negative impact or feeling of because the meaning is not been understood fully. Two things came up: Face It or take it inside of our bodies with intention to fight it out. If in case none of them is done, nature has that power to strike this on you today or later. First method is to face it/take is inside our body which is intentional and the body releases the substances which makes body ready to fight against this Virus (in today’s situation), infection or diseases, whatever you say. I will mention Virus as we are fighting against it now. The next one happens through nature, which is out of natures compassion towards humanity. Nature have always helped humans to survive through the odds even after lots of destruction, damages and mistakes done by human. It is way forgiving that we might have even imagined. Nature will hit you in full capacity with that Virus, just to make you produce the substance to fight against this Virus. Now this is Accidental event. Body is not prepared for this. Which might be little harder on the body, causing deaths and devastating effect but Human has the capacity and power to fight this way too. This is how we - Humans have evolved, survived and lived since centuries and eras, I would rather say since infinity. Results from both are the same: Human Survival. This is how we survived. So now let me put this in more literal meaning. So may be in olden days, when the science was not as developed, it might be possible that people survived with the combination of first and second mind set. People might have been naturally hit by the virus or they just faced it with strong intention to fight against it. Now due to scientific development, our brains were able to make this Poison - in the form of Vaccine. Yes. That is Poison. But this is our weapon now. This is now a strong fight given by Humans to such one sense organism who is here, and can just survive in Human body, ie the intention of such organism is just to kill and have devastating affect on Humanity. But now is the time to fight against as we have realized our weapons. Our weapon here is not the vaccine, it is our own strength and power. Our own believes that together we can do that, does not matter if we have taken the vaccine or not. Let's just face it with power this time. There is not just that, when we realize and go deeper there is much more happening during this process. If you have seen a picture of Shiva drinking poison, His throat portion turns out to be light blue. Now this blue colour is the throat Chakra colour. It is called Vishuddhi (Means Purification in Sanskrit) Chakra also for some reason. If this chakra is Active and balance only then the process of Purification can happen. For now I will just stop at this, hard to digest such bitter truth, like a bitter pills, but it helps at the end. (Not all of them though, lol) Shailja Do not limit yourself with particular recipe or guidelines for vegetarian cooking. Let’s take a multifaceted approach. Now that you have taken a step towards vegetarianism, the big challenge for you is to sustain yourself with your decision, for life. Do I know what and how to cook vegetarian food that would satisfy my taste buds? Will that at the same time nourish my body? Answer is simple, being vegetarian will start detoxification process in your body slowly. Not only you but everyone around you will notice change in you. While understanding the wisdom of vegetarian cooking, it gives a kick to your creativity within no time and you will start making more and more delicious recipes you might have never even seen in the restaurants. Myths about Vegetarian Cooking 1) There are not much options available in the restaurants when you dine out. Options are now available in most of the restaurants just we need to change our vision. Be firm and be proud on your decision, no matter what people have to say about being vegetarian. You have now chosen to save animals, remain healthy and improve your current health condition by only eating food that does not make you sick and feel bulky. Tip: Change your vision and realize how important it is to eat right. You will automatically disregard meat to be the part of your diet. You can always ask to create your own Sandwich, Salad, Pasta, Pizza, Curry, almost everything with the substitute using tofu, falafel, cottage cheese(Paneer), Soyabean, Chickpeas and many more, nourishing your body and much better way than ever before. 2) Not many recipes are available or I know to cook. Be creative with your own recipes. You can not be creative enough if you lack the wisdom for the art. Through Yoga, Breathing Techniques (Pranayama) and Meditation you can achieve this wisdom and energy. Before looking into any books, videos or recipe guides, you need to first discover you own abilities to develop this art of cooking. Once you have done that everyday cooking will not be hassle anymore but will convert into your passion. You would then realize the endless possibilities of making vegetarian food. Every time you make food with help of this wisdom and experience you will always cook like “A Chef” and those who are eating your food will not stop praising you as it is made up of pure love gained from this inner wisdom. 3) It is too much work to cook vegetarian food. Thats absolutely a Myth. Vegetarian food takes way less time to be cooked than meat. And thus it takes way less time and energy from your body to get digested than meat. Vegetarian food takes 3-6 hours to get digested and meat takes 24 hours and sometimes more. While doing your groceries, now look around in the produce section, there are tons of vegetables available. Not only vegetables, look for grains and beans like different lentils, flavourful basmati rice, different flours, spices and nuts. Always keep these basic ingredients available in your kitchen at all times, so that whenever you think of a good recipe you don’t have to go out and buy them. Learn how to cut and cook these vegetables. Learn what can be served with that veggie, how to make home made breads without yeast, without baking or much ingredients. When the work becomes a Passion it is no more a work, its love and pure energy that you are putting into your art of cooking. Clarity is required for any work you do. Wherever there is confusion the chances of loosing the track is more. Clarity through your own wisdom is only gained through trust, experience and self realization. But how to build up this trust, confidence and strength within? Through Yoga and Meditation. There are techniques to activate your third eye “Ajna” Chakra for the inner wisdom. All cuisines can be easily made using vegetarian ingredients only. Also try to cook using seasonal fruits and vegetables. Know the basic properties of some spices which you can use according to the season. Some basic ingredients that you should always keep for quick preparation eg: spice rack, varieties of beans, Whole wheat flour for your bread, lentils and rice. Do not limit your cooking skills to one particular cuisine or style. Be open and try to make other cuisines as well to satisfy your taste buds. Start increasing the kitchen inventory like soya flour, quinoa, cracked wheat, chick pea flour, beans, seeds etc which are a good nourisher for your body. Learn about fruits and vegetables that grow seasonal in your region. Learn about different herbs which you can add on to your dish eg corriander, chives, neem leaves, mint etc. Ayurvedic cooking style does not belong to only Indian Cuisine and is not for Medical use only, it is a Universal method to keep nourishing your body on daily basis without extra efforts. For example turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, mustard seeds, Methi seeds, cumin seeds and many more have healing effect. Turmeric and Ginger is extremely helpful for kids throat infection, cough and cold. Masala Tea with Ginger, Black Pepper, cloves and cinnamon help digestion. Corriander has a cooling effect and is best to use during summer. Mustard seeds has heating effect on the body and thus can be consumed in winters. The complete vegetarian diet gives a slow healing effect to the body. Weight loss becomes easier now. Digestion becomes better. You are now taking a big step towards non-violence. When Yoga and Meditation becomes your light, you may now use this light from within to create peace and bring happiness around you. It is difficult to treat this situation with the help of medicines, alternative therapies, any consultation until and unless, you do not see a light in this dark situation. All these treatment gives temporary solution. It give temporary relief but the situation still remains around your life, soul and mind. To put it in very simple form, it is merely a state of mind which was created my situation, rather than that simply a life crisis. Also who have no idea what is this state of mind, who have never been through this situation, who have never felt the pain, will never be able to help you come out of this. Most of us, just hide the situation, most of us have buried it and cover it since ages, divert themselves, neglecting the feelings. Many are able to do with medicine, drugs, drinking, in short using any external material to make them happier. But deep down you come back again now or later with the same kind of depression, this time reason can be different. Like you all, I have been in this darkness of Depression many times in my life but am so proud to share this while I have pulled out myself strong and blossoming life. Many times I am saying because usually people tend to bury those emotions, not show it to the world or just isolate themselves. And thus I did the same and this sate of mind came up to me again and again. I was able to come out of it. This was only possible when I started correcting myself, straightening my life by taking baby steps at a time. Always remember only those people can really help who have helped themselves first. Rest is all superficial. Rest I mean, all the outside help, therapies, diagnosis, etc. I knew any outsider therapies is not going to help me. I need someone or something stronger than my negative mind situation. Something way positive and strong then me. So just sharing little tips of wisdom, my technique to come into the light. Step 1: While you are in this mode, this sadness, confusion, you can hardly see through anything. No light what so ever. No way, direction or guidelines help. Until - you cry it all out first, you need to let it out, write it out, email or write a letter. But here be aware that you can not trust everyone. But you will find some help if you are deeply seeking. First step is to let it out in someway or other. Build trust on yourself first. Believe in yourself, that whatever you are doing for yourself or taking any step to get out of this situation is the right step to take. You need to more out and walk forward, that's should be your aim. Once you let it out, second step is: Then close your eyes, bring all focus into your heart area. Try to go as much deep as you can. Practice this, focusing on your heart area as much as possible. Now after some time, days, hours you will start listening to your heart’s voice. Before that your mind took over. Now you will start feeling lighter. Step 2: Practice Trataka. Practice ancient Lost Yogic Technique: Tratka (Click on the above link for YouTube Video for Step by Step details on how to Practice Tratka) This is a focusing technique. I am asking to do so as in this situation, mind will not let you focus on yourself at all. This is a practice to put your monkey mind on leash. And yes its the proven technique but is a lost yogic techniques not because it does not work, because there is no trust in within ourselves what so ever. Only trust in yourself will help you to trust others. This will help you to focus more on yourself rather than thoughts. Your thinking or thought process will diminish. Your inner strength will be awakened. Step 3: Above two steps will help you to correct your vision. Right Vision is the first and the foremost requirement to seek the right guidelines and help. Before that you have asked or have been seeking help from everywhere but you only have got temporary relief or answers, now you will be able to find solution. Be a Seeker. Seek the real guidelines, teacher or a master who can help you come out of not only Depression, but any kind of pain, darkness, confusion, etc. Seek the master who can make you the master one day. Some practical tools to help you gain some clarity:
"Depression itself is a negative feeling. What fuels this situation is the feeling of loneliness." - Shailaja Always remind yourself that you are your own healer. All the medications and alternative therapies will give you a temporary relief. This feeling will come back to you if you have NOT put your efforts to remove it from the roots. Tips to pull yourself out: 1) Pay full attention with your full inner strength to this situation. Ask yourself few questions - Why me? Do I deserve this? Why I am living such miserable life and everyone else seems so happy? When you stare at a thief, theif will tend to run away. Similarly when you give full attention to this, this feeling has to go once and for all. Negative things or people tend to escape, fall down or run away with your attention. 2) Focus then on your original nature, which is always positive, cheerful, strong and courageous. This is Humans' (Soul-I should say) basic nature, which has never been in limelight before. When you will start paying attention to these qualities of yours, it will enhance, increase and help you to come out of this downward feeling. I hope this blog has helped you in some way or other. Some wise man or a self realized one, many years back would have thought of building a structure where people can remember his own discovery, his own journey or his own experience towards spirituality, towards finding himself, towards godhood. It is unfortunate that so many religion broke out due to misunderstanding and lack of knowledge. Many years back we all know that there was not a proper system to preserve the writing. Writing and language wasn’t that developed, so people use to make statues, structures, monuments etc to preserve the real teachings. No, I have not read any scriptures, nor did I do any research, I have not learned from books, not someone taught me. It is purely my knowing, my wisdom, my understand of life and truth. Its totally up to the readers how they interpret this knowing. First of all, my Guru Acharya Shree Yogeeshji always says: “God does not write books.” That means none of the holy books or scripture have complete knowledge. It’s up to the students or disciples how they want to perceive and preserve teachings of Enlightened one. So following is my perception of Temples and holy places, driven by my spiritual knowing level. Coming back to the Topic, our present situation where there are so many divisions in form of religion, sects, caste, culture, tradition proves that human have completely failed to preserve the real teachings of Enlightened or Self-Realized one. Many many so called “Religious Leaders” or groups are responsible for this loss. Many bitter history of these ”Religious Leaders” have been hidden or erased where they hav literally destroyed, damaged and manipulated the teachings. “Religion was, is and will never be formed by The enlightened one.” So think; what are you now? Who do you cling with? What are you following? Who would you be identified as? Many such question arises of your own originality. Many atheists or logical minded people think all the Self-Realized one like Jesus, Buddhha , Krishna, Mahaveera etc etc formed the groups and religion. They wrote the Holy books. For this one I would then say “YOU ARE IN BIG ILLUSION, IGNORANCE, WAKE UP”. Those logical sided people would then follow the leaders or speaker who explains things with different kinds of logics which satisfies their cravings of MIND. All the above Self Realized or Elightened ones taught only one simple thing - “To begin our Journey by looking within our own selves”. If someone wants understand the concept of God, the enlightened ones real messages will be as follows:
Each and everything above has taken a form of literal ritual, instead of understanding the real meaning, blindly people follow them in the form of tradition. Once you have this knowing you will never be lost in this chaotic world of religion, confusion, pain and suffering. Did I mention to sing and narrate the praises of God? God does not need any praises, He is way higher than that. Did I mention Reading and Repeating Holy books? God never write books. Did I mention loud noises and songs? God understands only the language of love and prayers from pure heart. Did I mention of compulsive use of tradition, costumes, language? God can not be confined for one sect, culture or tradition. Divine is Everywhere. Final words on this, search within, do not follow the herd blindly like a sheep. Question yourself, Question the tradition you have been following since ages, question the rituals that you have been following. Humans are lucky to get the developed mind and we need to use it for the proper knowledge of at least our own selves. Know Yourself and start your search by cleaning your Temple - Body everyday, every moment. |
